The time has come for some Easter fun ? these six craft ideas will keep the little ones engrossed in creative activities during the holidays. All the goodies are easy to make and can be used to decorate your Easter table or liven up an Easter egg hunt!

Bunny box

Follow these steps to make a fun bunny box that you can use as a colourful table centrepiece or fill with Eater treats for the kids:

  • Neatly cut off the top section of your tissue box and cover the entire box in the pink card, using Bostik Art & Craft White Glue.
  • Now draw two large bunny ears onto your leftover pink cardboard and cut around them.
  • Cut out two small inner ears from the dark pink paper and glue them onto the centre of the larger pink ears.
  • Now glue the completed bunny ears onto the inside of the front of the tissue box.
  • Wiggle eyes are great and easy to stick on, but if you can?t find any, make the eyes with black and white paper using a hole punch for perfect circles. Remember to glue them down with Gumi Stick.
  • Glue on a cotton wool ball in the centre for the nose.
  • Draw on the mouth with red glitter glue.
  • Fill the box with wheatgrass and Easter goodies and place it in the centre of your table.
You will need:
? Cotton wool balls
? Leftover eggshells (cleaned)
? Black and white paper (optional)
? Wiggle eyes (optional ? available from bead shops)
? Orange paper or card
? Scissors and hole punch
? Bostik Art & Craft White Glue
? Paint and paint brush

Cotton wool ball chicks

These adorable little chicks are cute and really easy to make by following these instructions:

  • Take your clean half eggshells, paint them whatever colour you wish and set them aside to dry.
  • Once dry, glue a cotton wool ball into the bottom of each eggshell. When this ball is firmly in place, glue the second cotton wool ball on top of it.
  • Make eyes out of black and white paper, using a hole punch to get them perfectly round or glue on some wiggle eyes for a bit of fun.
  • Cut small diamond shapes from your orange paper and fold each in half to make a triangular beak.
  • Glue the beak into the middle of the top cotton wool ball.
You will need:
? Thick cardboard (for board)
? 2 shades of colour card
? Scissors, ruler and pencil
? 4 ice cream sticks
? Bostik Art & Craft White Glue
? Bostik Glitter Glue Set
? Bostik Prestik
? Clear, self-adhesive paper (optional)

Easter travel game

Easter O?s and X?s is an exciting travel game to help keep the kids occupied during those long hours in the car or whilst you are doing the last minute packing and preparations. Follow this step-by-step guide to make the game:

  • Cut a piece of cardboard into a 12cm x 12cm square.
  • For extra protection and a glossy finish cover the board with clear, self-adhesive paper.
  • Use Bostik Art & Craft White Glue to fix the ice cream sticks across the board. Bear in mind that you may need to cut the sticks so that they lie flat on the board.
  • Once they are in place, decorate the ice cream sticks, if you wish.
  • Cut out 10 Easter egg shapes ? five from one colour card and five from a different colour card.
  • Cover these shapes with clear, self-adhesive paper to make them last longer.
  • You are now ready to play your O?s and X?s game using your different coloured Easter eggs instead of drawing O?s an X?s ? use Prestik to hold the eggs in place, if you are playing whilst travelling.
You will need:
? White cardboard
? Scissors, ruler and pencil
? Pink coloured paper
? Bostik Art & Craft White Glue
? Bostik Glitter Glue Set
? Bostik Gumi Stick
? Make-up for bunny?s face (optional)

Make your own bunny ears

Before the great Easter egg hunt help your children to make a set of bunny ears and then paint a bunny nose and whiskers onto their faces to complete the feeling of make believe.
Follow these simple steps to make a set of ears in just 15 minutes:

  • Cut out a long strip of white cardboard about 5cm wide x 60cm long.
  • Now cut out two 20cm long x 8cm wide bunny ears also from white cardboard.
  • Using pink card, cut two smaller inner ears and glue them into the centre of your white bunny ears.
  • Position the completed bunny ears on the inside of the headband so that they fit behind the child?s head. This means that they should be at the back, in the centre of the white strip, before you glue them into place.
  • Staple or glue the band to fit each child?s head and then cut off any excess cardboard.
You will need:
? Leftover eggshells (rinsed)
? Food colorant (various colours)
? Coloured card of your choice
? Pencil and scissors
? Bostik Art & Craft White Glue
? Bostik Glitter Glue Set

Eggshell mosaic cards

Make these unique Easter cards using leftover eggshells, dyed various colours with food colorant. They look really impressive and are very easy to make ? just follow these steps:

  • Soak your eggshell pieces overnight in food colouring and water ? use different glass bowls for each colour.
  • Once the eggshells have absorbed the colour, remove them from the water. Place them on a paper towel and set them aside to dry.
  • Now draw an egg shape, chick shape and bunny shape onto your choice of coloured card and cut them out.
  • Put a layer of glue onto your shapes and place the pieces of coloured eggshell onto the glue in whatever pattern you like.
  • Now set it aside to dry.
  • Cut out the three backing cards, making sure that they are taller and wider than your three shapes and then fold them in half.
  • Glue your mosaic egg, chick and bunny onto the front of each card and write your greeting with your choice of colour from the Glitter Glue Set.
