Wait ? clearly something has gone very wrong. Shouldn't she be in a club bathroom somewhere snorting her problems away, or getting engaged to someone she's known for two months, or, you know, hurling TVs through a hotel-room window? Isn't that the route to eternal joy?

Despite the conventional Lala-Land wisdom that no problem cannot be solved by partying as if it's 1999 and you're entirely bereft of all judgment (you can face things next year in hospital, after you overdose in a toilet somewhere), Eva's taking a different line of attack.

Okay, she did get to this point via a stint in rehab last year for undisclosed reasons, but maybe she'll save someone else from having to reach that point before common sense kicks in.

As she tells Marie Claire, "[I'm] a woman who has been through life experiences, thank God, and therapy. I love therapy!"

"I'm very into it. I'm very in touch with my feelings, so I'm a completely different person. Not that different, but you know... I gotta tell you, there's nothing like going in and sitting down and talking to someone who has no emotional tie to your life."

"Just to talk to someone. It's amazing."

Hmm, actually dealing with your crap... a novel idea. Reasonable, intelligent strategy vs flaming out in a pubic, tabloid-drenched disaster? A-listers, it's your choice!

And, finally, Sienna Miller is... sensible? Oh, blazers, this rationality's catching. What will happen to the gossip, I ask you, when even Sienna is sanguine?

Miller's just lifted the lid on her being mysteriously dropped from the Russell Crowe-starring 'Robin Hood' movie last year. She was replaced as Maid Marian by Cate Blanchett, and the speculation was that the producers ? wait for it ? thought 40-year-old Blanchett was a more appropriate age than 27-year-old Sienna to play Crowe's love-interest.

Now even studio execs are getting in on the sense thing. Where will it end?

"If I had to make a choice between myself and Cate, then I'd choose her as well," says a magnanimous Miller.

"Of course I was disappointed, but I am also big enough to know these things happen all the time in the film industry ? it's just that when they happen to me it's news."
