Probably the only good thing that Seth Rogen's 'The Green Hornet' had going for it, has left the project.
Veteran actor Nicolas Cage was due to play the villain in the action film, but apparently Cage and the studio couldn't agree on a deal.
The Hollywood Reporter said that studio Columbia had no comment, but word got out that they are in the process of looking for another actor to take over Cage's role. Even though principal photography has already started, no scenes with Cage were shot.
Cage recently signed up to play in the thriller 'The Hungry Rabbit Jumps', which Roger Donaldson will direct for Tobey Maguire's Maguire Entertainment and Endgame. According to The Hollywood Reporter, 'The Hungry Rabbit Jumps' focuses on a man who becomes involved with an underground vigilante group after his wife is affected by a brutal crime.
