Gang of Instrumentals are one of the most successful independent groups in South Africa. At home their work on 'City Ses'la' has received two SAFTA Golden Horns for Best Soundtrack in a TV Comedy; 'Cry 4 Me', their debut album's radio hit track, scored two Channel O nominations for Best Group and Best Video in 2005; and the chart topping 'My Number 1' off their second album landed a 2008 SAMA nomination this year for Record of the Year.

But the gang's fresh and energetic sound has also carried them beyond the country's borders ? to the United States and to Nigeria for their Kora nomination for Best Group 2008.

Now they're back home with their third offering, the appropriately titled 'Round 3', featuring Louise Carver and Sliq Angel and songs like 'Oh Yeah', 'Woza December' and the dub mix of 'My Number 1'.

We spoke to lead vocalist Tumi 'Lady Naturelle' Masemola about the fun side of life.

Me, a devil? ...Never.

I acknowledge that I am popular, and am working to be an icon in entertainment.

I'm preggies so good old H2O will do.

I don't have pockets, I'm rocking a summer dress. I would tell you what's in my hand bag, but the list is far too long...
