DJ Spiro ? who mixed the popular 'Serious Beats', 'House Anthems', and 'Trance House' series ? is bringing the party back with his new album 'Progression 4'.

Athens-born Spiro Damaskinos grew up in a house filled with jazz and after school moved to London where for two years he soaked up the early '90s house scene and witnessed raves exploding on an unsuspecting public.

He was working at a restaurant at the time, partying at top clubs such as Ministry of Sound and IT in Amsterdam when he was off-duty, and playing for the cleaners at closing time when he was working.

Having witnessed legends such as David Morales, Tony Humphries, Sasha and Justin Robertson in action at the decks, he was hyped and ready to take on anything when he returned to Johannesburg.

As a live DJ he's known for his larger than life personality, which has been displayed at most of South Africa's big dance events where he shared the decks with international greats such as Boy George, Faithless, Blu Peter and Mrs Wood.

Now punting his latest release 'Progression 4', he took some time out to look on the fun side of life.
