Chris de Burgh scores 2.5/5

Chris de Burgh has a huge following all over the world and with good reason ? his voice is warm and gentle and his songs have a mellow charm that makes for easy listening.

On this album he gives his own branding to some great songs such as the Pete Seegers classic, 'Where Have All The Flowers Gone', 'All Along The Watchtower' written way back by Bob Dylan and 'American Pie' originally penned by Don Mclean.

But where his true talent shows best is when he sings Lennon-McCartney hits such as 'The Long And Winding Road', 'Blackbird' and 'We Can Work It Out'.

There 15 songs on this CD, including two of De Burgh?s own creations, and they are all as gentle and as pleasant as a light sea breeze at sunset.

A good value for money album which should appeal to more mature audiences.
