Talented Cape Town songwriter and singer Justin Bergh has a natural talent for producing Number 1 singles and his latest album has a few songs that can do it for him again.
Remember 'Love the Sinner' and 'No Ordinary World' from his first album that held the Number 1 slot on just about every national and regional radio station in South Africa?
This was followed by four songs on his second album, 'Out of My Hands', 'Not a Day Goes By', 'Misunderstood' and 'Here With You' which all made it into top five slots and stayed there for some time.
By now you have probably heard 'Miss America', one of the 13 numbers on 'Inside Out' which started getting air-time from early April on a number of local radio stations.
And there are more tunes of the same quality on this album.
Some people compare his voice to Bon Jovi, but to me he sounds more like Bryan Adams, particularly when he belts out 'Get Connected'.
He has a nice country-rock style, with good variety and is equally pleasant listening whether he is crooning out a love song or belting out something like the old Beatles favourite 'Should Have Known Better'.
Justin Bergh has already played and recorded in Australia and America and has starred in many big crowd concerts. He even entertained South African rugby fans with his rendition of our National Anthem at the Twickenham test between the British and the Bokke.
This handsome, talented young man has sung at concerts in Istanbul and New York and has even put in a personally request performance for the Prince Albert of Monaco and with good reason — he produces damn fine music.
