SABC has launched a nationwide search for the ultimate Bafana Bafana fandom song for the broadcast of the upcoming World Cup.

As the official broadcaster of the event, the pubcaster is searching for a song that will be played as the official anthem on TV and radio in support of Bafana when the international showdown begins.

Entries are open for a month: they opened on Tuesday, 2 March 2010 - and close at midnight on 2 April, 2010.

Each of the entries will be assessed by music professionals and the TV channels and a Top 5 will be chosen and announced.

These five songs will then played and rotated equally on SABC radio stations and relevant TV shows to give everyone a chance to hear them. Listeners and viewers will vote for their faves and the winning song will be become the official Bafana Bafana support anthem.
