Hollywood's most controversial couple, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are taking their relationship to the next level.
The pair, who have long denied that they are romantically linked, will try to solidify their tumultuous relationship by merging their finances in a joint bank account.
Though they make more headlines with their decadent partying and dramatic lovers' tiffs, the couple reportedly make large sums of cash through Lohan?s sporadic acting stints and Ronson's DJing gigs.
A source said in The Daily Express: "Lindsay was reportedly earning #122 000 per episode for her stint on 'Ugly Betty' last year and she's stashed that into a joint account to show Sam how much she loves her."
While some may argue that Ronson?s association with Lohan is a publicity attempt, allowing her to up her celebrity and earning power, she has reportedly done her utmost to remain economically self-sufficient.
The source said: "Sam's very generous to Lindsay. She pays for everything when they go away together and Lindsay wants to show her gratitude by doing this.
"Sam is completely disinterested in shopping and things whereas Lindsay loves to spend and always says she wants to be as rich as possible. Having a joint account is a huge step for her."
