Expectations of a second wedding between supermodel Gisele Bundchen and US football star Tom Brady on Saturday has sent Costa Rica into a tizzy, with paparazzi scrambling to an exclusive resort where the knot will be tied.

The Brazilian Bundchen (28) and Brady (31) already married on 26 February in Santa Monica, California in a church near the beach, People magazine has reported with no confirmation so far from the couple.

People reported recently that the couple invited family, friends, Brady's New England Patriot teammates and Bundchen's fashion crowd to a dinner and a wedding rehearsal Friday and to the wedding and reception proper on Saturday at the Santa Teresa resort.

While no independent confirmation of the wedding was forthcoming in Costa Rica, boatloads of paparazzi and reporters were seen Friday boarding the Puntarenas ferry for the Nicoya peninsula, where Santa Teresa can be reached on foot.

Local newspapers also reported that wedding guests and boxloads of flowers have been arriving in some 15 private planes that landed at Tambor beach, in Nicoya.

Bundchen, a Victoria's Secret lingerie girl, was discovered at a McDonald's restaurant in her home country before becoming a queen of the catwalk.

Formerly linked to Hollywood film star Leonardo Di Caprio, Bundchen was recently listed in US Forbes magazine as the world's top-paid supermodel.

Brady, the 2007 National Football League Most Valuable Player, late last year suffered a knee injury that could put his 2009 season in jeopardy.
