Miley Cyrus claims 80-year-old women can wear her new fashion collection.

The 16-year-old star ? who has teamed up with designer Max Azria to create a line for US store Walmart ? initially wanted to appeal to girls her own age but now believes everyone will be able to wear the designs.

She said: "I wanted to finally make something that was for girls my age. Something me and my friends would wear. But I'd say anyone from age 8-80 can enjoy this line."

The 'Hannah Montana' actress also said she was inspired by fashions from Europe.

She explained to People magazine: "My inspiration for the line is kind of an edgy UK style. Every time I go to Europe I love going to all the funky stores. I wanted to be able to bring those fun styles to the girls of America."

The collection includes high-waisted denim shorts, a long black and red checked-shirt, a ruffled blue shirt, leggings and a loose fitting yellow smock top. All the styles are available for under R160.
