South African glamour couple Danny K and Lee-Ann Liebenberg have split, reveals celebrity news magazine heat.

A year after they got engaged crooner Danny K and his FHM cover model fiance Lee-Ann Liebenberg have called it quits, the couple have announced. In an exclusive statement to heat magazine, the couple broke the news that their six-year relationship was over.

Says heat editor in chief Melinda Shaw: "I was really shocked when I heard the news. Danny and Lee-Ann have always been a wonderful couple to work with and they are both genuinely nice people."

Shaw adds that when heat first launched five years ago the couple featured in the magazine many times due to the fact that they were forever breaking up and making up. "But over the years they settled into a much calmer relationship and last year, when they got engaged, I was convinced it would last. They'd grown up, Lee-Ann jokingly told me."
