Ryan Seacrest uses custom-made teabags to reduce his eye bags.

The American TV star is self-conscious about the dark shadows and lines beneath his eyes, and is convinced they make him look older than he is.

He has tried several different remedies to improve the look of his skin, and has finally hit on an unusual method which he insists works.

"Ryan is now treating dark bags under his peepers with tea bags custom-brewed by a Chinese herbalist," National Enquirer magazine reports.

The star is so sure the bags are making a difference to his face he reportedly gets them driven to him wherever he is working ? whether it is on his show on channel E! or while filming American Idol.

He has also been known to host his KIIS-FM radio show while receiving the soothing benefits of the bags.

This is not the first time Ryan's beauty secrets have been revealed. Several years ago it was claimed he had skin-smoothing injections Botox to iron out creases in his face, but decided not to keep up with them as he didn?t like the frozen look they gave his face.
