New GTI also boasts a full package of standard and optional equipment to shove the flagship Golf into an even higher motoring realm. That includes a neat Park Assist system, which enables automatic parallel parking and packs in ParkPilot front and rear reversing aids as well as Hill Hold Control. New GTI can also be ordered with cool new bi-xenon headlights with dynamic curve lighting

Of course a Golf GTI is not a Golf GTI without the most sumptuous of cockpits and the latest GTI once again takes that to a new level of perfection. At least that's what the press kit says?

Still, new GTI comes with standard lumbar support integrated sport leather seats with whiplash-optimised head restraints and the requisite GTI logos embossed on the seat covers. GTI also boasts a red-seamed leather steering wheel; neat GTI-style instrumentation, brushed stainless steel pedals, an aluminium look gearlever, a leather parking brake grip, black roof liner and pillar trim and 'Black Stripe' door trim

A high tech radio-navigation system with touchscreen and reversing camera is another GTI option, while details like brushed chrome accents and elegant round instruments give the impression of a car from a higher class. Of course GTI offers ample space for five with between 350 and 1305 litres for cargo.
