Mitsubishi?s all-new Lancer family of sports sedans is to be revealed in full by Mitsubishi with the unveiling of the Prototype X at the forthcoming North American International Auto Show to be held in Detroit during January 2007.

The Prototype X has been created to give a clear and accurate design vision for the next generation of Mitsubishi?s iconic supercar, the all-new Lancer Evolution.

Consistent with Mitsubishi?s sporting credentials, its high performance engine, dynamics and sharp design are intended to appeal to enthusiasts worldwide.

As such, Prototype X will demonstrate the full range of the new Lancer sports sedan family — which also makes its show debut in Detroit — from entry model, right up to the all-new range-topping Lancer Evolution which will be unveiled in production form later in 2007.
