When there's a Mercedes E63 AMG in your garage, what else do you need? More power, of course, and the Brabus B63 S version delivers just that, along with a combination of bespoke alloy, body and cabin enhancements.
The 6.3-litre V8 has been fitted with the Brabus B63 S performance kit, which consists of two sport air filters, free-flow metal catalysts and and engine computer upgrade. Power output is bumped up by 22 kW to 408Kw and peak torque grows from 630Nm to 650Nm at 5400 rpm.
The B63 S kit uses all this oomph to sprint from rest to 100km/h in 4.3 seconds and will reach a top speed of up to 320km/h. That's if you have the right rubber fitted. If not, it was nice knowing you.
A new limited-slip differential ensures proper delivery of that power and does its best to prevent the car from sitting in place while spinning out all that potential acceleration.
Stylish and practical parts
Brabus designers used a wind tunnel to develop streamlined components that are as stunning as they are effective. A front spoiler lip and rear diffuser and spoiler, all manufactured from clear-coated carbon fiber, are part of the streamlined styling. Air flow through the front wheel wells is improved by aluminium air vents.
Wheels have been included in the custom treatment, with diameters of 18, 19 and 20 inches available for alloys that can be fitted with a large range of tyres. The largest version features 20-inch alloys fitted with Pirelli or Yokohama high-performance tires sized 245/30 ZR 20 in front and 295/25 ZR 20 on the rear.
The Brabus B63 looks just as good inside as it does from a distance, thanks to items such as stainless-steel scuff plates with an illuminated Brabus badge and a speedometer gauged to 360km/h. Mastik leather, Alcantara, wood and carbon-fiber inlays finish off the trim.
Brabus backs up its work with a three-year or 100 000km warranty.
