Renault's new Megane Coupe-Cabriolet will be launched in South Africa toward the end of 2010 and this stunner promises to be fabulous ? from the inside and outside.

This elegant convertible has a glass roof ? no cloth-tops or hard-tops for the stylish French ? that contrasts beautifully with the satin-effect, chromed windscreen frame, while the sweep of the waistline adds an element that does justice to its cabriolet persona.

The glass roof offers outstanding acoustic and thermal shielding and can be electronically folded in just 21 seconds.

A fixed, glass wind-deflector positioned behind the back row headrests gives four occupants draft-free driving at speeds of up to 90km/h and, when used in conjunction with the removable mesh deflector screen located behind the front row, allows two occupants to travel free from buffeting whatever the speed.

The car comes with a long list of high-tech features that includes an automatic electric parking brake, 3D sound system and Carminat TomTom GPS

The bodyshell has been made far more rigid and the suspension upgraded to provided an incredibly smooth ride and handling precision, whether the roof is up or down.
