After receiving nearly four times their annual rainfall in one month earlier this year, the normally dry plains of Southern Namibia have sprung to life, with knee-high grass covering the landscape as far as the eye can see. Piet Swiegers, who runs the Klein Aus Vista lodge, says: "If you're lucky you'll see grass like that every 30 years."
